"Maybe there's something wrong with me but I don't see what's so great about this. It's hyped up beyond anything as supposedly the greatest thing ever. It was OK but I've read hundreds of books like this and in my opinion there are better."

"I bought this book because it was one of my favorite stories as a child, and I am now a Mom. It was nothing like a remember, and not enough pictures to hold a young child's interest. "

"This story is a classic that I grew up with. It is both interesting and scary. The solution is a link that offers you a chance to buy the book. Also, the book got good reviews. This is a must to have along with all of the other classic fairy tales. It comes in both paperback and digital. The only thing, is I wish there were more stories offered. Overall, I think that this is a good solution."

"Legends and folktales published in 1989 - I would have to say skip this. I found that a few stories were interesting, but it felt outdated and not my cup of tea. I think this may be good to read to young kids, but at my age, I felt little to no interest in this. Perhaps the translation was off too? "

"I can name many and many great classic folk tales book but unfortunately the Choctaw Tales would not make it to the list. Although the stories display great intelligence I am not particularly interested in Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians. If you are just looking doe classic folk tales, you should definitely look for something else."

"This is a must have for anyone interested in classic folk tales. Ever wonder who Prometheus, Helen of Troy, or any of the classic Greek heroes are? Well, you can find the answer here! I wasn't at all familiar with any of these Greek tales, but after reading this, I feel much more cultured and knowledgeable about the subject. This is basic cultural knowledge, and also some great storytelling! Pick it up if you are at all curious!"
