"I can remember reading "A Tale of Two Cities" back in high school and thinking wow what a waste of my time, why do I have to read this. However, I recently stumbled upon it again while looking for a new read on my kindle. I must say, I was not disappointed and found a whole new respect for this work after reading it now as an adult. I would say it is one of the best classic novels published by Everyman's Library. Although I got it for free on my kindle I gladly would have paid for a hard copy of this novel to add to my reading collection!"

"Such a good book, even if it is ridiculously long. I love how it tackles so many deep issues of the human nature, and Jean Valjean and the priest is one that should stick with you for a long time. If you've only ever seen the musical (which is admittedly wonderful), you've got to give this a crack."
