"After reading this novel I understand why it is considered one of the best classic science fiction novels of the 1960's. It touches on the human spirit and definitely gives one an alternate view of life in general, especially religion, cults and sex. I feel this is more of an adult book than a children's book due to the mature story lines. "

"This is too often overlooked but it's one of the best science fictions books I've read. I won't spoil anything but it is a must read for any serious sci-fi fan. It's not dated at all either, seems very modern."

"Anthony Burgess' A Clockwork Orange is a novel about a dystopian future where droogs drink a lot of milk and wig out on drugs and beat people up and other terrible things. It is not, I repeat NOT, journalism. The "ultra-violence" in this book is meant to be a parable and a warning about our society. What it might become. Not what is actually happening, everywhere, all the time. OMG, I think I'm going to cry. Maybe I'll read A Clockwork Orange to get my mind off things. :-("

"This is an award winning science fiction novel, so I would say that you could call it a classic if you really feel like it. I do not believe this was published during the 1960's though. I'm seeing that it came out in the 1980's if I'm not mistaken. Not a bad read!"

"The story is more about chasing a spiritual, zen-like concept where everything is related to a Feng Shui existential well-being.It is truly a book only the critic could dare love. Not a best classic science fiction novel."

This is the Spanish version of the popular science fiction novel written by Phillip K. Dick. The book is set in the Moon, which has been already colonized by humanity, and where a product named 'Ubik' has miraculous powers. This product is nothing but a metaphor of God, as it is everywhere and has supernatural powers.

"This book was okay for a weekend read while on vacation but it isn't a book I would have picked for myself. I got it from a book exchange while on the road and thought I would try something different. It was decent but nothing surprising."
