"This fiction book was not only authored by two people but was illustrated by another. This is a great example of co-authored fiction books and it can be considered one of the best since even J.K. Rowling has been quoted giving it praise. If you like the Harry Potter series this is one to check out."

"This is an excellent book. It was one of the first Pern books to focus on the more common people in the land, which was a welcome angle after many books about dragon riders, harpers, and lords. The characters were fresh and engaging, and bringing the watch wheyrs into the story was also new and exciting. The following books weren't quite as fun to read, as Todd began taking things in a strange direction with a lot of romance and politics, but this, the first collaboration, was a beautiful balance between the two authors."

"Strange premise for a request. This book fits though, with one author that died leaving a few chapters and another taking over years later. Reviews say its a decent read. "

"I was interested in the book because I was told it was co-authored, and was looking forward to seeing if I could pick up on who-wrote-what. Sadly, that was not the case here, and it was boring to boot."

"The first time I read Powers That Be (Petaybee) I honestly didn't know what to expect. I have never read a book that was co-authored before. This is a fantastic YA fantasy series and I'm so glad that I read it! It pushed me to read other co-authored series but this one will always be my favorite."

"I didn't like that I could almost tell which authors wrote the different sections of the book because their writing was so different than the other. The story itself wasn't too bad but it lacked excitement and seemed to drag on for me."
