"Ultimate Spider Man Volume 2 is so much better than Volume 1. This one is more action packed and the story does not drag along like in the first volume. The story packs in a lot into this little comic book. This is actually a good start to someone just wanting to learn about Spider Man and his relationship with his aunt and girlfriend, Mary Jane."

"This is very well done and it's more of a graphic novel than a comic, but fans of Spider-Man will love it. I like the elements of tragedy that are at the center of this story. Spider-Man must deal with the demise of an influential older figure and also of his great love, Gwen Stacy. It's an emotional ride that is well-written and gripping."

"It was so sad to read that one of the greatest comic love stories - Spider-Man and Gwen Stacy - ends. As a reader who always enjoyed their romance, I am heart-broken that Gwen gets killed off. This tragic event provides Spider-Man with life-changing decisions and what he decides his own future will be. So sad."

"Marvel Masterworks: Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 1 was written by San Lee and follows the adventures of Spider-Man. It'a a great hardcover book to pickup for comic book fans, especially those who enjoy the adventures of Peter Parker. It's a must-have in any comic collection."

"When it comes to Spider Man, I prefer the classics. I don' particular like this Superior Spider Man series, feel like it was unnecessary and when I tried it out that was confirmed. Go with the classics if you're interested in reading source material."

"Spider-Man: Origin of the Hobgoblin is not one of my favorite Spider-Man comic books. However, I really love all Spider-Man comics, so I guess it is all relative. I would rather read a so-so Spider-Man comic than an outstanding Ant-Man comic."
