Arkham Asylum by Grant Morrison and illustrator Dave Mackean is an interesting reflection about madness and the boundaries between superheroes and supervillains. Batman is forced to enter Arkham Asylum when the inmates take control of the sanitarium and want Batman to be exchanged with the innocent workers and doctors. There, he must face his inner demons while fighting Joker, The Penguin and other supervillains.
