"This is a cool place for those interested in game development, but if you're looking for a less specialized community there are better options. Hard to think someone would enjoy this place without having a passion for game development specifically."

"It did not seem that this was a web site to support independent development of games. Instead, it looked like a portal to other websites to me. The first site listed looked like a portal to a game development conference, a lot of the others looked liked portals to games already built."

    #3Greenlight Concepts

    Greenlight Concepts
This STEAM section is intended for items looking to gather feedback from the potential customers and begin building a community. If you like projects here, feel free to rate them, favorite them, and leave feedback for the developer. The voting here serves only to give the developer data and reactions and doesn't work toward getting the game distributed on Steam.

"Making a video game is always a fun dream to have, but for a lot of people, it is just that. It's cool to see so many startup projects on Kickstarter and other sites, but Steam has Greenlight Concepts too. I've backed a few projects over the years, but what I really like about Greenlight Concepts is that the feedback you leave gets read by the developer. You can also rate and share the projects to get them more exposure even without financially backing them. "

    #4TIGSource Forums

"I like to go on TIGSource Forums and see what new, in-development indie projects are out there. There’s fast becoming no better place to find new projects than TIGSource’s DevLog forum, where developers regularly post screenshots, GIFs and audio samples from their upcoming projects.a place This is a place to ask for help or to give help to others, and there are a lot of discussions on the creative design as well as technical aspects of indie games"

Facebook Live API - Facebook for developers is a website exclusively dedicated to developers, where you can live stream video and watch streaming from other developers.

"I recently starting learning about developing web interfaces. Since Facebook is the most popular social network I thought I would learn about that community. The Facebook Live API was exactly what I was looking for. I'm able to learn how to hook all my custom application I might write right into Facebook. Boy, I've got a lot of learning to do?"
