"I have a lenova laptop running with the Intel Core i5-4690K. Its more then a few years now but still allows my daughter to play Minecraft with fairly good settings. Im sure the built in Intel HD Graphics 4600 helps with that. The pc can even run World of Warcraft at lower specs. She is also able to get all of her homework done and use office with no issue."

"To some extent it really does not matter what processor you have as long as the CPU does not interfere with the GPU. However for some games while an i5 is more than good enough. for others you will likely want an i7. This will avoid the so called cpu jitter when things get complex in a game like Battlefield 1. "

"A solid enough processor for its time. It is two generations outdated though. The lack of hyper-threading was not an issue back in the day, but games generally make better use of multiple cores than they did a few years ago. You will definitely be under-performing with this. However, if you can get a used one cheap, it could still be a fine budget option. Buying this new is really not recommended."
