"As far as ratings go this is a highly rated cowboy movie, so in that sense it is a good solution to problem. However without the topic being specific this may not be a good solution for many, specifically those who are not into older movies and would have preferred a more recent best cowboy movie. Again the topic is plural and the solution is only singular."

"Stagecoach is a classic western from the days when the genre was in it's prime. John Wayne stars, giving a performance that defined him as an actor for years to come, even long after his death. If you have any interest in the Western genre, you absolutely must see this movie, even if some of the social aspects are very outdated in the modern world."

"When you think about the best cowboy movie, my mind goes straight to The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. It is a perfect mix of graphic, realism, and a little far-fetched. Also, Clint Eastwood in 1967? This was perfect Clint. The plot is fantastic and keeps you on your toes through the entire thing, wondering what will happen until the end."

One of the great classic western movies that really helped shape the category. A really great movie."

"I love westerns, and I have seen more than I care to cut. Once Upon a Time in the West is by far the best. It is truly a classic. Henry Fonda and Charles Bronson pull off stellar performances but Claudia Cardinale somehow manages to steal the show."

"The combination of 2 excellent actors in this genre, on the same screen, is worth it alone to watch this movie. They play off each other remarkably well, and the story itself is satisfying and compelling. The cinematography is underappreciated also."
