"Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition looks to be quite promising from a first glance but that's where the fun ends. The game itself is full of bugs and often will crash throughout leading to much frustration. As it is an older product I think development probably has stopped so I would not expect things to be fixed. It may be worth a look if you're into this genre but generally I would look elsewhere."

    #3Baldur's Gate II

    Baldur's Gate II
In Baldur's Gate II you have to choose between resisting the evil within you, forging a legend of heroic proportions, and ultimately destroying the dark essence that haunts your dreams; or embracing your monstrous nature, carving a swath of destruction across the realms, and ascending to godhood as the new Lord of Murder.

"This looks like a really interesting, fun, and highly rated CRPG game. However, it is not being sold from the Steam website, or a Steam licensed game, which was one of the major key words in my search. While I might be interested in this game as an extension of my love for video games, it does not satisfy my query for a Steam game."

"Pillars of Eternity is a notably old-school RPG that captures the feel and style of the turn of the millennium stalwarts of the genre. It's a great way to introduce younger players to the isometric RPG style that produced so many addictive titles. One downside to the game, if anything, would be perhaps that it is too indebted to these older games, that it feels like a game that will be remembered as a very good game but not an absolute classic like those that came before it."

"I was looking for an RPG with an old school vibe with an in-depth story that isn't just grinding, and Planescape: Torment really hit the spot! I wish I had discovered this classic sooner. I've spent 70 hours in-game so far!"
