"I'm a big fan of the Death Note manga series. L: Change the World is very much an add-on to the first two Death Note adaptations, and it wanders farthest from the original Death Note series. But the director has preserved the atmosphere of the original, and the movie is as action-packed as the previous two installments. I wouldn't say it's the best Death Note adaptation, but it's well worth watching and owning as the completion of the series."

"Oooh! A Japanese manga movie! There is a good reason that this weirdly-crafted genre is popular. "Light Up The New World" appears to be an installation in a series with the main title, "Death Note". In it, death notes are sent into the ground, which upsets the world so much, that chaos breaks out all over. Did I mention "weird"? You're probably gonna scratch your head over this movie for a long time. It is subtitled in English."

"I was looking for a Death Note live action movie adaptation, as I am a big fan of the manga, and I watched Death Note on Netflix. It is similar and based on the manga, but it is also very unique. When I treat it as its own movie it was good, but it wasn't very true to the manga that I love. I feel like its ok, and fans should watch it, so I recommend it."

"I really enjoy Death Note 2: The Last Name and it's a manga like the original and it's an awesome action movie. They managed to make the story still interesting even in the second one it's one of my favorites now."

"This is very close to perfect as a solution to the topic. It is exactly what the topic is but the only thing that doesn't make it perfect is that it's a TV show and not a movie as previously listed."
