"As a designer, I only choose what delivers the greatest result. Yes, microsoft publisher is a good choice but in terms of design and the templates, Adobe Indesign is my go-to publishing software for windows. Don't worry, when I was a newbie, I also had a hard time learning the ins and outs of the tool but there are a lot of online tutorials out there. "

"In terms of value, I am choosing Microsoft Publisher as my top choice for the best desktop publishing software. As a small-scale businessman, My primary reason is that Publisher works both on my Mac and Windows. That means I can continue the project I am working on and switch from Mac to Windows from time to time. Second reason is the accessibility of the layouts. Almost all layouts are accessible on any computer, so be it my client or business partner, it is possible."

"I am a digital marketer and it is a must for me to always have the best desktop publishing software installed in my PC. I highly recommend lucid press because to be honest, I am not a designer so what I primarily look for in a publisher is its simple yet powerful ability to create marketing collaterals. By simple I mean, it can be used by non-designers like me."

"If you have used Gimp before, you won't have any trouble learning or even mastering Scribus. But then again, one's familiarity with the Microsoft Publisher's GUI is what gonna make you think that it is really better to consider paying for the Microsoft Publisher than Scribus. Btw, I use this for composing a newsletter for my company."

"One of the considerable choices among Adobe's desktop publishing software. Particularly useful for technical documentation, printing of PDF manuals, and working online. The autogeneration of tables of content is also a plus when you are actually working under time pressure. There is a bit of learning curve for this. So, yeah."
