"Not sure how I feel about this and quite frankly, not my kind of read. There are hundreds of other books I would rather read. Yes, it has great reviews, but not sure as to why. At least it's inexpensive I suppose."

"I'm not all too impressed with this one, sadly. That's not exactly to say it's bad, it's not. It's just middle of the road and there's much better out there to invest your time into."

"Read this back in 1991, was mesmerized...something raw and grotesque, a book you will never forget. this second reading, Bateman seems more contrived, probably because he was a product of the 80's, a moneyed selfish arrogant murderer. I'm still liking the book, but it is a bit shallow second time round. Again, this is a book you will not soon forget, Ellis' murder sprees are vivid."

"This is one of those classics that kind of deserves its status and kind of doesn't. It's a good read when I first saw it, but it doesn't hold up for a second read, so take that where you will."

"I really like this book for the bizarre psychological and philosophical stuff and the actual story is only a little over sixty pages so it's not too difficult to read it twice to get a good grip on understanding what the author is trying to put across.. My only real complaint is that it isn't nearly long enough to tell a full-on story and elaborate more on the wonderful characters it holds."

"Delta of Venus is one of the best erotic books. No matter what your pleasure is, there's a little something in here for everyone. One of the cam girls I watch on a regular basis recommended this to me and I wasn't disappointed. If you're looking for some dirty reading material, this is it."

"If you are looking for a classic novel, "The Odyssey" is not the be missed. A favorite among high school literature classes it is a great read for both high school students and adults. Maybe you vaguely remember reading it in high school, reading it now as an adult gave me a whole new meaning and understanding. It takes about journeys through life in a way that has never since been duplicated."
