"While this camera is not professional grade, it is the only one I will take with me on trips and to events that I attend for pleasure. The price is reasonable, the features are solid and I like its portability. The ability to access photos on my Android phone is also one of my favorite bonuses. I can play with filters, immediately email a shot to friends, post to social media and access the camera remotely from my phone. I am pleased with the quality of the photos and ready for my next adventure!"

"A great camera for beginners and experienced photographers alike. It has a gradual learning curve to teach those new to photography, with its GUI based menu to show what options and settings do what and how to utilize them properly. It's lightweight, has quiet and fast lenses, and super high resolution for that professionally look from a DSLR camera."

"With the built-in Wifi, and bluetooth this camera makes it really easy to upload and post photos. I am not sur about it being the best dslr for beginners, as the cost is a bit pricy for a beginner, there are many dslr on the market that are just as good and are not as pricey. That is not to say this one is not good it is, just based on the concept a little high for a beginner."

"This is one of the best DSLR camera that I would recommend to beginners in photography. It is totally worth its price. It was so easy to use and handle. You can operate it too easily. The best thing about it is its WiFi feature which allows you to instantly send images through the internet to you computers and phones. The image quality should be ranked way above its price. If you want the full pleasure to use this camera, considering the variety of lenses is a good option. It tells you what Nikon has actually done best for this camera."

"My first camera was a Pentax and I think my last camera will be a Pentax because the quality is unmatched in the industry. For beginners I would recommend a camera like the Pentax K-50. The Pentax K-50 is a DSLR type of camera that is perfect for the novice photographer or the expert. There are 16 mega-pixels, which is more than enough for the weekend photographer. The ergonomics are excellent as it is well designed , not too heavy and easy to hold to shoot and shoot!"

"The Nikon D3300 is a great DSLR camera is an excellent camera. But in terms of a beginning camera, this is a tad too advanced for a starter and another one is likely to be a better option at a lower cost."

"The camera itself isn't awful for the topic category, however, there seems to already be an updated version of the one that was linked and there are very few reviews that tested the extent of the camera as it was when it was current. However, to be fair, the reviews that are there are not negative and the few ratings it did get are exceptionally high. I'm personally not familiar enough with cameras and their usage to understand how it is really meant to be used."
