We have always believed that learning isn't confined within the four corners of a classroom. And so here on this page, we are making sure that learning while having fun is absolutely possible! Learn from our list of educational and eye-opening movies that present us the how-tos of life, from doing well in school to choosing your friends, and from learning the sad realities of life to appreciating what you have. DID YOU KNOW?

The first single-lens camera that got movies started got its patent in 1888? This was by a French inventor named Louis Le Prince. The first moving picture show was a homemade movie done by Max and Emil Skladanowsky. They were the first to make movies for paying audiences throughout Europe. Silent movies ruled the early years of cinema. The most significant early movie is generally regarded German masterpiece “Metropolis.” It released back in 1927 and took several years and the use of special effects on the film. The ability to put sound on the actual movie film got its patent by American Lee De Forest in 1919. Along with the help of inventor Theodore Case, De Forest and debuted and first heard in 1927. The rest, as they say, is history.

Today, movies come in all sorts of formats and resolutions. As well as paired with amazing sound effects and designs. Some of the best movies have also diversified since then and cover many topics and themes. Apart from the usual genres like action, romance, and comedy, there are now plenty of others. There are sports movies, biopics, and even educational movies. One of the most popular types of movies today is superhero movies. We can thank Marvel for bringing our childhood superhero idols to the big screen.

"I am not really into musical and all that, but after seeing the sound of music back then, I told myself that when I already have kids, I'd like them to see this film. Fast forward, my daughter just turned 8 and I knew it was the time to show her this film. So we watched it together, and good thing she really liked it! She watched it again the second time alone, and perhaps she'll watch it again and again! Maria in the movie is such an inspiration to kids! aside from that fact that she's a good singer, I like her positivity and for me it can be considered as one of those educational movies! 😊"

"All the Toy Story movies are the best educational movies in my opinion. I grew up watching Woody and Buzz's friendship, and in the second film, I became so emotional because when I was a kid, I used to throw broken toys. This movie taught me to take care of my toys and ofc, the story of friendship between woody and all other toys are also something you can learn a lesson from. They rescued woody !!! 😁"

I watched it and learned something from it. I think if I show this to my students, they'll be aware of the importance of our planet and maybe it's somehow a life-changing one!"
