"I was skeptical when I first heard about this movie. I thought it was jsut a massive gimmick the whole natural light thing but it was soooo good. It really added to the brutal, naturalistic feel of the movie. 10/10!"

"Tim Burton has this thing where he kind of overrides any cinematographer's style and the movie always ends up looking like a Tim Burton movie. Burton's aesthetic isn't bad of course but I wish he'd let cinematographers take charge everynow and then, especially someone as talented as Emmanuel Lubezki."

"This is one of Lubezki's earliest work so I won't hold it against him that his cinematography is still very technical and by-the-numbers. It's still really good, though!"
