"I like the gorgeous case and the binding that these dictionaries come in. Based on the compactness of the words, being reproduced micrographically, and still having all the content from much bigger volumes, this seems to me the best dictionary set available. It's endorsed by Oxford and also has a supplement and bibliography. "

"Always a classic, the Collegiate Dictionary has had a revered space in my bookcase for the majority of my adult life. Amazon, per usual, has a killer deal on the latest edition, and site reviews show it still to be the go-to source for dictionaries."

"Today's modern world, kids probably do not know the joy of finding words with a good old dictionary book. I hope that The American Heritage Dictionary: Fourth Edition brings back the nostalgia of word-searching of the past. It may not be as robust or as updated as dictionaries you find on the internet, but it's always good to keep one in the house for a reminder and for history lessons on how we did it in the past."
