DID YOU KNOW?
The world of Destiny 2 has continued to grow over the past two years since its launch and is slated to continue growing with the announcement of Shadowkeep. While the world itself has a lot to offer in terms of interaction, and just as many ways to destroy things with the number of weapons in the game, it is interesting to note the actual lore behind the tools of mass genocide you may or may not ever use in the game. The Wish Ender, for example, is an Exotic Kinetic bow that will allow the player to see through walls when aiming down sight. This relates to the bow’s original owner, Sjur Eido, the first holder of the title of “Queen’s Wrath” and the lover of Mara Sov. The lore of the weapon details what is possibly Sjur Eido’s final moments in the Reef War, ending with a final oath to rise again.
Another weapon to look at would be the Vigilance Wing. While Exotics drop randomly as a reward from Trials, the Vigilance Wing is an Exotic pulse rifle that was once a symbol of the Cult of Osiris. It was granted to people who successfully tackled the Trials of Osiris (before it became a PvP tournament) and joined their ranks. It represents the beliefs of the cult, in following the teachings of Osiris, in continuing to carry his legacy despite hardships. The lore then ends with a question directed at whoever RNGesus grants the weapon to: “will you honor the heralds who earned this weapon's honor and continue the hunt?”
#6Lord of Wolves
The Lord of Wolves is an exotic shotgun from Destiny 2. The weapon's main perk is the Shrapnel Launcher, which fires a powerful short-ranged burst, dealing Solar damage to its target. Additionally, defeating an opponent doubles the number of projectiles per shot for a short period of time.Game Elements
