"This is a great and simple recipe! If you like beer then I don't see why you wouldn't enjoy fermented food as well :)) I usually make sauerkraut as a condiment or added flavoring to other dishes I prepare at home like with sausage, sandwich, or a salad. I also use it as a hangover cure or to prevent the flu from starting."

    Lacto-Fermented Pickled Vegetables

Instead of using vinegar, let lactic acid be the fermenting agent for this pickle recipe. Fruits and vegetables have Lactobacillus on the surface and in an oxygen-free environment, bacteria convert sugars into lactic acid that acts as a natural preservative.

"I've been searching for easy fermented food recipes since my doctor recommended it to get my metabolism going. So pickling was the first thing I tried since I already like it, I just wanted to try doing it myself haha. Didn't know you can do this without vinegar and actually think this is a better alternative since it doesn't taste as acidic."

"I love yogurt for its versatility. I can eat it for breakfast, or as a snack, and even use it to substitute mayonnaise. I usually bought mine from the store but then you can only try so many flavors. Happy to have found this among the best fermented food recipes. I knew I was healthy but I didn't know I was applying a trend without even trying lol"

This was easy to follow and glad that it provided information like the health benefits of eating kimchi. Tried it the traditional way at first then used radish the next time and it was just as great."

"I tried this with coconut milk and it was AWESOME... about to see if this would blend well with almond milk. This drink as much as any other cultured food in this list does wonders when you need to get your gut to function right. I think this is great in the morning, gives your stomach some lining before you dump in real food haha"
