"I have never heard of the House of Night series. Unfortunately, after looking into it, it really is no different than other books in the genre."

"For me this book is confusing and convoluted. The storyline is silly and it does not convey a cohesive message at all. It is like someone in Jr high school wrote it."

"If you love drama, the supernatural, and very annoying whiney teenagers you should read this book. I think I might be getting too old for this kind of fiction but after a friend told me it was one of the “best book” she had ever read I picked it up. It has a lot of the fun elements that hook you right away, but I couldn’t get over how much angst and inaction the main character took. "

"This series seems to be written for a younger audience, and preteens can read it without any struggle. The trilogy begins with this book: The Golden Compass. The book provides fantasy and fictional geographical regions. There is a movie after the book, but I highly recommend the book first, as the movie is underwhelming. The story is great and it's one that isn't easily put down."

"Who doesn't like a good vampire book. I think this book sounds relatable and it's nice to have a book focused on college age kids. This age group is often times to old for younger books but not quite ready for adult books. "

"I read "The Keeper and the Rune Stone" rather by accident. I bought it as a gift for a close friend's child. Before I wrapped it, I thought I'd peek at it closer. Before I knew it, I had read the entire book. It offers a very magical tale that is appealing to most kids. I enjoyed it without being the intended target for the book at all. If you know anyone who likes mystery and mystical races like elves, they will no doubt enjoy this book!"
