"The heroine of this fantasy novel wakes up to find that she is in a land far different from her own. Also, she has been selected for ritual sacrifice. She must first survive and eventually thrive in the fantastical and somewhat brutal plane of existence."

"This is an interesting mash-up involving kidnapping -- it's an alien abduction romance! I know, it sounds a bit hokey. And, well, it is a bit hokey, and not all that satisfying in the end. It's a mixed up mash-up that doesn't really benefit from the genres the author attempts to blend. "

"I have read this book, its actually not that bad, it does have a little bit of kidnapping in it, but not that much. Over all this would work as a possible solution. It has funny moments in it, steaming scenes. Easy to read, something that is good for in between books, or looking for a new series. "

"I'm sorry, but being kidnapped and raped to start a story is one I'm not going to read. This author is prolific under many pen names, and should know better. But maybe you write that many books because you just don't care that much about any individual one."

"I was really looking forward to reading this book. Some friends told me it was great and I went into it with high expectations. It turned out to be another done to death paranormal vampire romance. The main guy is your typical dominating broody sexy vampire. The only unique thing is that the main girl is 40 years old. The only problem is that she acts like a spoiled teenager the whole book, it was hard to visualize her age. Boring uninspired plot and unlikeable characters, give this book a hard pass. I give it a 1 for effort."

"Grim (Tornians) is one of the best books with kidnapped characters that I have read. Grim meets a woman, that he desperately needs to continue his legacy, and she has 2 daughters and they fall in love. She brings out his lighter side and even though they are from 2 different worlds, they love each other. This book could use some better editing but it was enjoyable."

"I don't see much connection in this description to the concept of kidnapping. Also, I feel like the recommendation of the 4th book in series, makes it not a good choice for the average person. "
