"I wanted to get my son to be more environmentally conscious, so I picked him up Phoebe Comes Home to peek his interest. However, he didn't seem to like it too much and gave up reading it shortly after starting. I was pretty bummed, but I'll try another book! "

"I think it's misunderstood, the environment, and how there's not much emphasis on the really issues. I don't see how a fiction book would help that, especially because it's a fantasy book. It's down playing the environment."

"I was not well-versed about the eco-thriller genre until I discovered The Tourist Trail. The description first captured my attention, and once I started reading I was struck at the wide range of emotions explored in the novel. There are elements of suspense, romance, and action that are woven together seamlessly, a credit to author John Yunker. This is hands down the best fiction book about the environment that I've ever read."

"This is a powerful story about a zookeeper and the komodo dragon that it is her care. It is a touching story, but it's more about animal preservation than the environment, which is more of what I was looking for. It didn't scratch the literary itch I had, but I definitely enjoyed it."

"Not sure if this book really encompasses anything specific to being environmental, but the book is a really cool investigation/horror type of book. I would love to see this created into a movie, because reading the entire book I felt myself encompassed in the setting being described. Very nice story line, and definitely scary as it is suppose to be."
