"I have such a difficult time with the books my kids read. Take this one: The main character's name is Luce Price. Whatever happened to "Mary", or "Sue", or even "Betty"? It's always these bizarre sounding names, that you can't even tell it's a woman. This is another worthless book of wish fulfillment. Lauren Kate obviously had a bit of a rough spot in high school and this is what we get. I'm considering taking away my girls' Kindle."

She also befriends a brooding angel-blood named Angela Zerbino, a girl named Wendy Avery, and Wendy's brother Tucker Avery. "A typical romance novel in some ways but a version for smarter people in other. This has the basics for a romance novel but also some depth of characters and the places where they come from. Not my first choice on genre but a decent compromise book for the husband or boyfriend of the romance novel fan. "

"I picked up Hush, Hush as something to read on the side when I had my summer job at the front desk of the pool. At first I was a little skeptical of the content. The characters seemed rather immature, and I wasn’t sure if I could get into the plot well enough to finish the book. But man, am I glad I put in the effort and kept going. What starts out as a rather drawn-out YA Fiction book you’d see on any shelf turns into a supernatural, engrossing experience. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for some interesting fiction that’s not too heavy. "

"I was recommended this book by a friend and read it last week. I thought the book was okay but not anything special. The book felt somewhat generic, as it had similar themes and concepts as many other books. There was not a lot of excitement in the book. I never felt like I had to keep reading. This was definitely not my favorite book. "

"Who doesn't love vampires? Well I suppose there would be alot of boring times in the long unlife of a vampire. Do we really need a book about it? We travel back and forth from Europe to New York looking for relatives to ask questions we already know the answer to. "
