I've read this as a child, and as soon as I get my copy of this new set, will read it to my children! Maybe it's not an inspirational "You can do it!" story, but it's still a feel-good book nontheless."

"This book is definitely hard to read. I know it is a classic, but I found it very boring and difficult to get through. I did not find it particularly uplifting, and while it is not depressing so to speak it also is not exactly one that perks up your mood. In fact, it bored me to the point that it made me feel grim. I do not recommend this book, even though it's highly acclaimed and supposedly a literary classic. "
