"This is the first book I read by Susan Wiggs and I was pleasantly surprised. It did have a paramedic character, JD, who became famous when he saved a bunch of people from a tragedy. I highly recommend this as a nice summer read!"

"Hearts in Darkness is one of those books I find myself going back to again and again, possibly because I'm still half way in love with Caden. I mean, come on, guys, who wouldn't fall in love with a broody, tattooed paramedic with a soft side, even if he's fictional? "

"This book is so original. It's rare for a romance novel to revolve around a natural disaster, but it works for Aftershock. Lauren the paramedic saves the day with Garrett the soldier at her side. There's a bit gory though, so I wouldn't recommend it to anyone with a weak stomach."

"The main character of this book, Kit, is a paramedic. Honestly, I think it's a little over the top the way the author made Kit perfect. On top of being an excellent paramedic, she was so good at so many things that it wasn't at all realistic. Still loved the book though."

"I'm a nurse so I'm always a bit reluctant to read books with characters in medicine. Katherine Howell got everything right, though. The medical jargon was accurate and I really enjoyed reading about the paramedic life."

"I cannot determine if this book depicts any paramedic characters. But, what I can tell you is that this book is both exciting and highly romantic at the same time. It will keep you roped in until the last page."

"Stay (from Blackcreek series) is a romance story between two males which makes it an interesting read for the fans of that genre but it isn't marketed as a book with paramedic characters in it because that is not the focus of this story, hence, I don't think it is a good example for the assigned topic.
