"Donna Tartt, winner of the 2014 Pulitzer Prize for her most recent novel, The Goldfinch, established herself as a major talent with The Secret History, which has become a contemporary classic. Under the influence of their charismatic classics professor, a group of clever, eccentric misfits at an elite New England college discover a way of thinking and living that is a world away from the humdrum existence of their contemporaries. But when they go beyond the boundaries of normal morality their lives are changed profoundly and forever, and they discover how hard it can be to truly live and how easy it is to kill."

"As a bisexual, I'm always looking for stories with individuals that share similar life stories or experiences with their sexuality. With The Passion, I was able to relive the story of Henri, and in doing so feel why his life was difficult as a bisexual as a solider in the french army. This novel helped me understand where he was coming from and I am a better person for it. "

"This is an interesting take on the LGBT community. I would say it is not the best book I have read around the community, but it's not the worst. The one thing I really like about Alex Sanchez's books is that he always tries to bring in different characters and perspectives. If you like LGBT fiction, then you will probably like this book."

"Kushiel's Dart was a novel I remember being popular among my girlfriends and their friends in highschool many years ago. I think it really shaped a generation of girls who read it in a weird way. Can't recommend it, based solely on my experiences with the girls who thought that was the ideal romance."

"Love, Lex is a book with a whole lot of stuff going on, truly all over the place in a very soapy way, and a lot of which has nothing do with bisexual characters. Given there are plenty of great books that better fit this genre, I'd skip his one."

"I am proud of Renee Wallace and the lovely story she crafted of lovers in love. J.B. and Shanelle are a beautiful couple who experience the connection that many only dream of. One look across the room and they both know there is something there well worth following through the maze of love and the labyrinth of desire. The alterating point of view was skilfully handled, her voice for each character distinct. Kudos, Miss Wallace!"
