"Xender used to be a very popular app to send/receive files between devices, especially the ones having different OS (e.g. between Andriod and iPhone). However, with the latest update, many people got disappointed that Xender asks for suspicious permissions, like location and Bluetooth. Also, when the app is closed, Bluetooth doesn't turn off. The Xender team claims that this is a limitation of Andriod 6.0 (or 8.0, not sure) and they are working on a workaround. "

"Zapya has become my go to app when it comes to files sharing and for many different reasons...Number one saves money on costly mobile data charges...Two transfer files without a mobile data connection or Wi-Fi connection. Zero data needed to transfer files for when I'm a hurry and I just don't have time to connect and again saves money, not just time and three, it's fast, the fastest file transfer application out there and up to 200 times faster than Bluetooth; oh and it supports multiple languages and you can share group to group and not just one on one...a must have. "I like this app because I send messages to various chat platforms using my computer. It comes in handy for the moments your phone is not within reach. I can share links and other files with family and friends quite easily. It's not too complicated to figure out how to do so either. I can receive notifications and phone calls via the app and I can customize notifications as well so i'm not receiving the ones I don't want. The messages are encrypted and it's available in a variety of languages as well. "

"I have used several solutions on how to control my phone on my computer and everything seems to be subpar on what you can do compared to what Apple's solution with their iOS and Mac synergy. Well, I don't have Apple devices, and AirDroid is the best thing you can get for the Android platform. It can read your text, make calls, and most importantly, mirror your screen to your computer, a feature that is a must for me. "

"This USB while it is definitely appealing and effective in its performance, still lacks the versatility seen in file transfer and sharing apps. You actively need to have physical USB on your person, to transfer and save files. I know there are plenty of apps that are capable of file transfer and allow you to share files with another person. I still have in the process of finding the best app capable of file transfers and sharing."
