"Adblock Plus did a fantastic job blocking advertisements, but there were some issues where certain advertisements continually came through different websites. It's a good product, but there's probably a better adblock out there. "

"I kept hearing about the importance of running a script blocker, so I decided to try NoScript. It was easy to install. After restarting, and ever since, I have felt more secure and haven't noticed any sketchy problems while browsing the web. I would definitely recommend it."

"Privacy Badger really helps me feel secure that I am not being tracked across websites. If it detects the same source seems to be tracking me across different websites, then it alerts me not to load any more content from that source. This increases my privacy on the web."

"I used Ad Muncher in the past. And I did not like it very much. It blocked my email account, which it took me 2 months to reconnect. Ad Muncher was designed in Germany by the same team who designed the Ad Bincher, another complete waste of money. If you wnt to increase the safety of your logins on Firefox, stay away from this blocker."

"I think HTTPS Everywhere is a great idea for blocking unnecessary ads. Even if it can't perfectly block everything, it's still an important step in the right direction. The only thing I would have liked to see that wasn't included would be compatibility for Safari in addition to Firefox, Android, Chrome, and Opera."

"I hate ads and supposedly AdBeaver rewards you for looking for ads. You get Beaver Coins that can be exchanged for different rewards. The problem is that the coins aren't worth much and it takes forever to accumulate enough coins to cash-out. I also worry about how it tracks my information since I value my privacy online. AdBeaver just isn't worth it in my opinion."
