"I wanted to like this book because Atwood is a great author, but I just couldn't get into it. It was very depressing and left you with a very sad feeling and bitter taste in your mouth. I thought that it could have been different if the characters had not been so maudlin, but overall I did not like this, I didn't like the characters, and I Felt myself struggling to finish this book. I do not recommend this for anyone."

"Rarely does a book about artists come off as entirely entertaining. However this work of fiction is so well written and so good at painting vivid images it can be seen as a work of art in itself. For all lovers of art and mystery this novel weaves an enchanting tale that is sure to be the masterpiece you are looking for."
