What are the best food shows on Netflix?

We all love food but despite our best efforts, we don't always prepare and cook them properly. This is probably what prompted the rise and popularity of cooking shows. Food is as diverse as people and culture itself and as much as we would like to, we won't be able to go there and actually try each and every kind of food. So what's the next best thing, you may ask? Well, you have two options. The first would be to go out and try them at your local specialty cuisine restaurants. The second, and admittedly more interesting option, would be to go and try to cook it for yourself at home. This is where cooking shows come into play. If you're a subscriber of Netflix, you'll be glad to know that there are plenty of Netflix cooking shows to choose from.

There have been a few sub-genres when it came to cooking shows but they can basically be divided into three types. They are instructionals, documentaries, and most recently, competitive shows. If you're a budding chef or you're just looking to learn more in the kitchen, you're bound to pick up a few new tricks along the way. We've made a little list of some of the best food shows on Netflix right now. We tried to include different types of shows so there's something that would suit just about every preference. Check them out below and tell us what you thought in the comments section. Do tell us if you've tried making any of the food featured in these shows as well.
