M (1931) is a movie by Fritz Lang. With a simple, haunting musical phrase whistled offscreen we know that a young girl will be killed. "Who Is the Murderer?" pleads a nearby placard as serial killer Hans Beckert closes in on little Elsie Beckmann...

"One of the seldom movies in the early 1900's that can hold my interests is the movie M. I like the fact that it is in black and white and definitely looks the part of the time it takes place in. The movie is also suspenseful and keeps me on my toes. I definitely would recommend this movie to anyone who is looking for a good thriller genre of films. "

"Fritz Lang movies are always one of my favorites. I watched Beyond a Reasonable Doubt this weekend and it was just what I was looking for. It was very mysterious and full of suspense. There are twists in the plot that keep you interested. I love older movies, it seems like they put more into the story, and not so much into just graphics. This story is based on real events which I love, because I can picture it in real life"

"This may not be Fritz Lang's best or most well know movie. Those would be Metropolis and M, but if you want a Film Noir style of movie, You Only Live Once fits the bill. It also stars a young Henry Fonda so you know the acting will be good."
