"This novel is excellent and truly captures what it's like to be a parent. Turns out, it doesn't matter a whole lot which gender is taking care of business. One of the highlights is the author's sense of humor about his day to day."

"Any parent knows how hard raising kids can be, and how isolating it can feel at times. The Bad Mother's Diary was really cathartic for me. It made me feel not alone, while also being an escape from my own struggles. It's a really fun read, I recommend any mom (or not mom) pick it up."

"It's no secret that parenting in the modern age can be intimidating and exhausting. My wife and I are gearing up for our first child next year, and she's been stocking up on parent literature as a result. Normally, a parenting book isn't really my thing, but this book was on our kitchen table for a week and I ended up checking it out. Now don't get me wrong, there's no book that can actually teach you how to be a good parent -- you're either born with it or not -- but Mulberry makes some good points."

"Although I absolutely LOVE Erma Bombeck and her books, I don't think this solution is a good one for a book about parenting. I would totally buy one as a gift for someone that needs a good chuckle about parentlng or just a good clean funny book. There are plenty of other up to date hilarious books that would be better options."

"The title alone immediately gives a pretty clear idea about the subject matter and tone of this book. The book focuses on parenting, but a specific kind: stay-at-home dads. The premise itself sets the book up for a handful of laughs and sentimental quips, and as previously mentioned the title confirms this inference."
