"A fun and fast paced gay romance book which is quick and fun to read. The book is a little shallow and the characters are a bit two dimensional, but it is still fun and interesting. Not very funny though."

"People may seem a bit uncomfortable at the gay romance genre, but if it is well-written, has a good plot and keeps you involved, who cares?! Fatal Shadows certainly does that, as Josh Lanyon tells the tale of Adrien English, who had his friend murdered, getting stalked by a very weird man, and a homophobic detective (because every gay novel has to have a bad guy who hates LGBTQ, but I digress) has to try to figure out who committed the crime. Keeping up? See, it's a great read!"

"I thoroughly enjoyed this book because I could relate to Mason so well — as a bi male book nerd who loves history and adventure and reading about the weird and exciting world we live in, I can find a lot of my own personality in Mason. While this sort of character arc is very common in M/F romance, where the buttoned-down male lead finds a “magic pixie dream girl” to bring him out of his shell, Mason and Shane are the first really good gay rendition of this that I have seen. The novel was a fun read, and I very much enjoyed the banter and humor of the book. It’s a good book, and just as importantly, it’s a FUN book. The leads are funny, likable people, the sex scenes are great, and the story isanenjoyable journey. Highly recommend."
