"Recently I have been really interested in paranormal novels. I had heard a lot of positive things about Wicked Ugly Bad (A Kinda Fairy Tale) and after reading it can see what all the hype was about. This book did a nice job of combining romance, paranormal as well as comedic elements. A truly unique novel."

"This is a great book to read if you are into vampire novels. It is a bit different in that while it does have great romantic moments, it also has a lot of humor to it that make it stand out and very interesting. It never feels like work reading this book and the story of Astrid and her journey as a vampire is one that is captivating and enjoyable."

"Who says that love and romance have to only exist in the physical realm? Wouldn't it be interesting to read a great story about a girl falling in love with a ghost and maybe having ghost babies? That may sound ridiculous to you but it is right up my alley. This book has a great story of ghost romance to horrify and titillate me at the same time. "

"It was okay, but not as funny or entertaining as I would've liked. The love story also was a bit boring to me. Maybe someone else's cup of tea, but not for me."

"Normally I love love love urban fiction, but I just can't get into this one. I think it's a little too vampirey or romance-y for me. Or maybe it just wasn't written that well. I thought the plot was SO SLOW and I just couldn't connect to either Cat or Bones. Just not the one for me, I guess. I'll still with other series."

"As far as comedies go, it's not that great. The humor is like a bad sitcom, but not in an endearing way. The romance isn't bad, the supernatural stuff is so-so, but the humor is so, so bad. "

"Magic Bites (Kate Daniels) is a very very great novel that I had notice in the supernatural section of the bookstore and got a great discount on it. There isn't any funny moment so don't think you will get a great laugh, but prepare yourself for a very appealing and powerful woman who is out for justice when someone murderer her teacher. Filled with darkness, supernaturals, magic, romance and apocalyptic scenes at your disposal! I would highly recommend this paranormal book."
