Did you know that "The Dragon and the Wolf" is the most-watched episode of GOT?  No wonder it landed on the top list of best episodes of Game of Thrones. The Dragon and the Wolf is the 7th and final episode of the 7th season of the series. According to HBO, 12.1 million viewers tuned in and watched the live broadcast of the said episode. It would become 16.5 million if you add viewers who watched Games of Thrones online through other streaming services. The hit dragon series keeps on breaking their own viewership records. The second most-watched episode of Game of Thrones is the season 7 premiere, "Dragonstone". It set a record of 10.1 million viewers tuning in to the live broadcast. The viewership of Game of Thrones has really grown over the years. From the 2.22 million viewers of the April 2011 pilot episode to the 16 million viewers that they now have all over the world.

Since Game of Thrones is undoubtedly one of HBO’s most successful show, it’s not surprising that GOT’s cast members are also one of the highest-paid TV actors. After some renegotiations, the cast has received raises for the show’s 7th and 8th season. Lead actors including Emilia Clarke, Kit Harrington, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Lena Headey, and Peter Dinklage reportedly earned $1.1 million per episode for the 7th season.
