"My favorite episode of the season, so I"d have to agree. The Battle of the Bastards was the most beautiful and well-shot of all the battle and fight scenes thus far in the series. I also loved that Jon and the North were victorious against Ramsay and his allies. Just, perfect cinema right there."

"The Winds of Winter is my second favorite episode of season 6. The opening sequence of The Winds of Winter is my favorite sequence in all the seasons of Game of Thrones. It was just so perfect, beautiful, and fit the events so well. The episode was also action packed with lots of dramatic (and often surprising) moments."

"The Door was an excellent episode. It was one of the most emotional and the Hodor seen had me crying. It wasn't my favorite, but it was definitely up there. I'm not a fan of the Iron Islands plot, so I could have done without that. All Hodor scenes were excellent though."

"I felt that this particular selection was well chosen, overall, for the reasons identified. However, I also felt that more information could have been provided that detailed both the substantive positive elements of this particular selection, and the negative elements of others which led the author to rank this episode as the best. #5Oathbreaker

    Oathbreaker

Oathbreaker is Game of Thrones Season 6 third episode. It's officially Jon Snow's first episode back from the dead. He abandons the Night's Watch, technically able to leave due to his death and rebirth. This episode also features a flashback to the Tower of Joy, although you don't get the reveal you get on episode 10's flashback. Sam departs for Oldtown, Daenerys is taken by the Dothraki, Arya trains with the Waif, and the machinations continue in King's Landing.

"I didn't love this episode as much as some others. The Tower of Joy scene was underwhelming for me. Also, sick of the same old thing with Dany. Always love Arya's scenes, especially during her time as a Faceless Man. It's not my favorite episode, but it's still miles better than most of the stuff on tv."

"Wow! Talk about packing a punch! This episode is brimming with punch: dark, bloody, spectacular, twisted GOT-style punch. Not for the faint of heart, as usual, but it's immensely good and enjoyable. Lots of suspense and awe, dragons, fire and mayhem. All the usual suspects are involved in this impressive episode - fans of GOT will be pleased, others might be overwhelmed. Either way, you won't forget it anytime soon."
