"I liked that this book mixed science fiction and romance, but I didn't like that so much of the book could have been written with less detail because it wasn't important to the story itself. I thought it was okay and wouldn't be a bad read while traveling."

"Even though I am not gay, I have to admit Submission (Deviations) by Chris Owens did keep my attention. This story gives you a glimpse of the BDSM community and really insightful. I would have ranked this book higher but the story seemed to end abruptly."

"This book is very upsetting, although a good read prepare to get angry! Jake is a man in the closet so deeply that he is with a girl regularly, of whom he is engaged to, while on the side secretly with a man. Its really a sad story. Of secrets and deceit. I can't help but feel bad for his fiancee."

"Infected is a good book with strong characters and a decent plot. It does not pull you into it, so it's really easy to read this in sections during downtime between other things you need to do during your day. It's not a particularly memorable book, but it's entertaining enough to be worth the read."

"I put off reading this for a long time, mostly because of the previous cover! The new one is a little better. Anyway, this is a great story. It did start a little strange and some things, like sex and the I-love-you's seemed rushed. But in spite of his age, Tristan was actually a mature young man in many ways. Michael was a man of principals and firm in his beliefs. They did come to a crisis point but were ultimately able to face their differences and actually discuss them, not just allow them to take over and fester. Granted, they had some help from strong supporting characters and accepting families. It was interesting to see the differences from 2007, when it was written, and how at least some things have changed for the better."
