"It looks to be a pretty good, coming of age, adventure, love story about two teenage boys. It's good to see that there is some quality literature out there that today's LGBT youth can relate to."

"This is a very interesting book that heavily touches on such a sensitive topic. I enjoyed reading about it, the main character Chase seems very complex and symbolizes a struggle thousands of teenagers are going through today."

"If you're into homosexual erotica, then recommend With Caution (With or Without). It was a bit cheesy, but there was a lot of steamy parts that really intrigued me. It's definitely recommended, although I feel the writer isn't all that great at visual descriptions."

"A friend recommended this book and I did find it very readable and even charming. It's funny and heartwarming, but maybe a bit to dramatic for my tastes. Still, I would recommend it on the strength of the characterization, as well as the emotional impact of the story. "

Forty-five-year-old English professor Nathan Qells is very good at making people feel important. What he’s not very good at is sticking around afterward. He’s a nice guy; he just doesn’t feel things the way other people do. So even after all the time he’s spent taking care of Michael, the kid across the hall, he doesn’t realize that Michael’s mob muscle uncle and guardian, Andreo Fiore, has slowly been falling in love with him. Dreo has bigger problems than getting Nate to see him as a potential partner. He’s raising his nephew, trying to leave his unsavory job, and starting his own business, a process made infinitely more difficult when a series of hits takes out some key underworld players. Still, Dreo is determined to build a life he can be proud of―a life with Nate as a cornerstone. A life that is starting to look like exactly what Nate has been seeking. Unfortunately for Dreo―and for Nate―the last hits were just part of a major reorganization, and Dreo’s obvious love for Nate has made him a target too.

"This is a good book that supports and promotes the gay community. I mean head on the two gay lovers Jake and Tor are ranchers who are both male, and move in with each other. Jake has other commitments to his family that jeapordizes the relationship. Tor feels inadequate and the drama starts once again."

"The Melody Thief paints a picture of a man living a double life, one of affluence and relative normalcy, and a whole other lifestyle centered around the bottle and his search for anonymous gay encounters. While The Melody Thief involves a child, it doesn't necessarily feature the child, and it doesn't look like it touches on childhood sexuality. "
