"My child isn't sure what they feel as it pertains to their gender. In order to help them understand that, I like to get gender-neutral children's books. With The Lost Thing, I was able to help my child explore their gender and try to help them figure out what they believe their personal gender identity to be. "

"This book is a treasure for boys and girls from varying ages. My toddler really loved it, as does my 6 year old. The illustrations are marvelous and that always makes reading a children's book more fun for me. The tale is silly, heartwarming and teaches a lesson. I think this is a must have for any child in your life!"

"This is an OK recommendation, But the book seems to be in the general area of being gender neutral, Although the book has 2 reviews, one negative and one positive, The topic creator may not enjoy this book as it has almost no reviews backing it up nor does it mention anywhere that is gender neutral, So its really hard to tell. Overall the solution is somewhat solved but another book might have to be recommended to satisfy the topic creator. "
