"It was such a simple stories because the book was made for kids. But i cannot say as an adult that i did not enjoy this because it was very enjoyable while i was reading it to my child. It was all in all a very unique story. Something that you have probably read over and over in other books but there is a slight difference in how it's told. "

"The Doll in the Garden is a novel that's been around for awhile, but the story still gives the kids the goose bumps. It draws you in and keeps you on the edge of your seat. It's one of the best children's ghost story books I've come across."

"A masterpiece written by a true artist of the written word. Bradbury’s skill in weaving a dark tale into one of hope is legendary. He perfectly describes the devil may care mindset of boys. Despite this story being written about boyhood so very long ago, it’s still strikes a familiar chord with all men. Truly one of his greatest works and a pleasure to read over and over again!"

"I am not a fan at all about telling ghost stories to children. Sure, I can see the twinkle in an uncle's eye retelling the story of the young couple making out in a car along a lonely road at night, and the man with the hook who was in the news approaching their car in the dark. You may have heard the version of the couple hearing a noise and taking off only to find a hook stuck in the bumper when they got home. The problem is that these stories get ingrained into our children to the point these legends persist. There is enough stuff to be really afraid of, so I forgo ghost stories for children."
