"I loved this book as a kid and now my kids get to enjoy it too! This book has aged very well and began my introduction to the horror genre as a kid. Now horror movies are all I watch, probably because of this book. Very interesting tale, keeps you on the edge of your seat. A little bit of a ripoff of the Chuckie movies but I'm sure the animated horror doll has been a trope in literature forever. I made my kids read the book for a school assignment and they're really getting into R.L. Stine now. They have just started reading The Haunted Mask now and are enjoying that one thoroughly as well. Highly recommended if your kids like scary books. This is a must-have for any book reports due around Halloween."

"I was looking for a great Goosebumps book. I've read a lot already and was really looking for the absolute best book in the series! Luckily I found my book, Stay Out of the Basement (Goosebumps Series)! Not only is this book fantastic, but it also deals with plants, and as someone who loves botany I feel like this book was terrifying and yet made for me at the same time!"

"I remember this from my childhood! I decided to read Goosebumps again and they kind of hold up. If you get over the simplicity of it. Welcome to Dead House is no different. It's amazing how creative it is especially being RL Steins first GB book."

"Great book! Scary, but not so scary that it haunts you for days. Perhaps not the best Goosebumps, or the best R.L. Stine, but well worth the read. Suitable for younger kids (7 or 8 and up, I would guess), fun for family reading."

"I was definitely a fan of these books growing up so this is pure nostalgia to me. That being said and in terms of a deal, I do think these books are priced quite fairly and good amusement for both kids and adults."
