"I have use this app before, in m quest some time ago to humor my friends by layering over out boring, everyday pictures. One pro of this app is that there are a variety of fun way to alter your picture, unlike what Snapchat used to have back then (though Snapchat's similar functions are quite extensive now). This app is flawed fundamentally because you cannot save the image that you worked so hard on altering, and it defeats the purpose of this app all together. "

"Kind of OK if you're not a designer or don't have the time to think something out yourself. But don't expect it to make miracles for you. The designs you'll come up with using this app will be very run-of-the-mill, and definitely nothing to write home about. Sure, if you need to slap something together quick quick quick and just want it to look decent, it might be one of your best bets when it comes to that kind of app. But it's not a creative app and I feel that it's just helping decrease the overall quality of the content we all see online everyday. Not very inspired (or inspiring)."

"I have tried PicMonkey, Canva, and Photoshop for graphics and photo-editing and of the three the cheapest is PicMonkey. For the money, the design app has a significant amount of the editing tools that the other two have at a reasonable price of $33 a year. PicMonkey provides lots of choices when it comes to photo-editing and applying filters. It also works great when you need to do something quick and easy like resize or crop an image, apply a photo filter, or add a watermark. However, when you start adding different elements (fonts, overlays, shapes, etc.) on top of each other it can be nearly impossible to select each one separately to make adjustments. This can be a huge time waster. Overall a good basic photo editing and graphics program."

"I love dreamscope. I have a pretty good camera and have been taking a lot of pictures. But sometimes I just want my photo to stand out - to look more artistic. Dreamscope makes my photos look so cool - and in minutes. My daughter, especially, uses this to post photos. It's really amazing. Suddenly, an ordinary photo has color and depth - like an artistic rendering of your ordinary life. I highly recommend this!"

"This app has a nice selection of fonts and preset filters to apply to images. It's a free download, so it's worth trying out. I've found some use out of it for some of my video projects. One downfall is that it is only available on IOS, but otherwise a worthy app."
