"The breakout book by this author is very unique in the way it tells the story. The story itself is a bit dark but is done in a lighthearted way that keeps you entertained. It's a different twist on a subject that is considered taboo. "

"This novel does not seem to match what I want in this search. This appears to be a lighthearted romance novel, but does not directly involve lesbians. It does appear to be a graphic novel, or at least a novel with illustrations, but isn't exactly what I'd expect"

"This is illustrated fiction. It isn't your average graphic novel. Imagine a book where most pages have their own illustrations. If you're looking for a titillating tale with hard-core lesbian "action" then this isn't the book for you"

"Awkward and Definition: The High School Comic Chronicles of Ariel Schrag is an interesting graphic novel or comic. This graphic novel gave an honest depiction of the high school life of an LGBTQ student. I was surprised at how honest and open the author was in expressing her observations, as I remember being somewhat self-conscious when I was that age. "

"Marbles is a finely written and drawn graphic novel about bipolar disorder. That said, I was under the mistaken impression that lesbian stories would be featured, as that is currently the genre I am primarily interested in exploring right now. Therefore, I can't give this novel my highest recommendation but it does touch on important issues."
