"Anyone who enjoys having scary stories for Halloween will appreciate this book. It has some very good stories, and some of them even have illustrations. It would be great for Halloween, but I've also used it when I take my annual camping trip. All of the kids love it, and the grown-ups love that the kids are occupied for a while when they are listening to the stories. It is definitely worth it."

"This is an interesting and scary book, but not necessarily a Halloween book. It has a somewhat Narnian-style as you step through a door into another house."
