"I'm a wimp when it comes to horror movies, especially when it comes to the "slasher" genre. You couldn't get me to sit and watch a Jason or Freddy movie even if you tried. Yet somehow, the original Halloween by John Carpenter is the one exception. It's utterly captivating and terrifying without relying on excessive gore and sensationalist violence, and it makes for the ideal group movie-watching session around Halloween time. Plus, you gotta love Jamie Lee Curtis' performance. It's simply a great movie."

"I first saw Scary Movie as a kid, and I have to say, it still remains one of my favorite movies to this day. If you are in the mood for a horror comedy spoofing on Scream and I know What You Did Last Summer you can't go wrong with this star-studded movie! This is a great movie for people really into horror movies. With actors like Shawn Wayans and Jon Abrahams what's not to like?"

"Just saw this movie on Netflix and was surprised by how good it is. Its quite original and has good character development (which is hard to say for most horror movies lately). It doesn't rely on obvious tired jump scares, but manages to build a very creepy atmosphere throughout. A great find!"
