    "Deadwood is a realistic look at the Old West and should not be missed. Because the series shows the times for what they were adds power to the shows versus diminishing them. As a period piece, it is astonishing, full of painfully muddy streets filled with illness and spilled blood. Possibly the best drama ever created for television."

    "Maybe I've been working too hard but I fell asleep the first time I tried to watch this show. It seems like a really arty version of something unlikely to happen. Once I got past the slow pacing and gave the characters a chance to develop themselves I can see the potential for greatness."

    "I've loved Gillilan since Gone Girl and Sharp Object has not let me down at all. Not to mention, Amy Adams' INSANE camera presence. Fantastic plot, Fantastic show-making! Definitely one of the most worthwhile HBO shows right now (ehem), unlike Westworld!"
