"My friend suggested that I read The Other Boylen Girl so I did. It was semi interesting. I felt like there was too much politics for my taste, and I wouldn't want to read it again. I do like that I could get it as an aduiobook for my kindle to listen to when I wanted to relax."

"This is a charming, well-thought out story around Vermeer's painting of the same name. Even the simplest actions take on a luminous quality under Tracey Chevalier's pen."

"Gone with the Wind is not only one of the best movies ever created, it is also one of the best books ever written. Not just in my opinion but in the opinion of millions of others. I first read this book during a long trip to Malaysia which was over 30 hours travelling time. On every leg of the trip, I couldn't put the book down. I read it in the airport, on the plane, in the hotel room, on the beach, and whenever I had some spare time. The book is so large and detailed that I was still reading it when I embarked on the plane back to the United States. An audio book would be fantastic as my hands would be free to type or clean the house while I listened to the book."

"I haven't read a lot of historical fiction about Irish immigrants. Old England and France seem to be the hot spots. Very refreshing setting and characters and a very good book on top of it all."

"In general, I dislike listening to audiobooks. It is very difficult for me to concentrate on a story when there is nothing to look at. Recently, I had to listen to a historical fiction audiobook called The Shadow of the Wind (The Cemetery of Forgotten Books) for a class I am taking. It was actually pretty interesting, and it held my attention fairly well. Overall, I would say that this is a good historical fiction audiobook."

"I think Philippa Gregory did a wonderful job capturing the spirit of Anne of Cleves in this work. While the book is mutli-POV, I found Anne the most interesting character. And while she was painted as a villain (or, at least, an antagonist) in The Other Boleyn Girl, now we get to hear Jane Rochford-Boleyn's side of the story, and she became a much more sympathetic character."
