"I read this book from cover to cover, and it had me intrigued. It's an incredible contemporary story with bit of historical fiction mixed in between. This book takes you from Ethiopia to Sudan to Egypt on a marvelous adventure through ancient empires. The author can name drop a little too much, but outside of that, this was an interesting and great book."

"It's challenging to write a fiction book that's historically accurate but Michelle Moran, the author of Nefertiti, does just that. One of the better aspects of the book is that from reading it, you can actually understand what it was like to be an Egyptian female from various caste classes during this time period. That aspect made the book way more interesting to me and thanks to the compelling characters, I thoroughly enjoyed the ride. "

"This was one of the best books I've read in a really long time! Mencheres transforms into an amazing person in this book that you don't see in the original series. You see a whole new side to him, and the Night Huntress world. I usually don't care for spin offs but this one is awesome. Once I cracked the book open I couldn't put it down! I even read in the car when we had to go grocery shopping.. I read until the early morning hours even though I had to get up for work this morning, I just couldn't put it down until I was done and that left me wanting so much more! I love Jeaniene Frost and the world she has created in the Night Huntress Books."

"This is a good solution because it is the first book in a series so readers are likely to understand it from beginning to end and the synopsis matches the topic well. The only thing not good about this solution is the inclusion of the publisher's name, which seems like extraneous information."
