"I love reading historical fiction, and my favorite setting is medieval England. I needed a really substantial book to sink my teeth into, and Ivanhoe was a fabulous option. I had no idea there were old historical fiction writers with classical literature acclaim. I thought most of it was modern paperbacks. I really enjoyed this read, and feel like I developed as a reader."

"Here Be Dragons is a classic that is still a great read to this day. I wouldn't be surprised if Game of Thrones took some inspiration from it."

"This was a really cool concept for a book! It's a historical mystery and the main character is like a medieval version of a forensic pathologist, and she's a woman! I love mysteries and forensics so I enjoyed this book a lot. "

"I found this to be an interesting historical fiction novel set in medieval England. It deals with the civil war between Empress Maude and King Stephen. It is not the best book set in that period, but it is well above average."
