"I liked Whitney My love because it was a romance that had so much drama. I love the character whitney but can't grasp why she would love a man that rapes her and treats her like crap. It sort of reminds me though of General Hospitals Luke and Laura (a love story that also involved rape) so that is why I broke down and read it. I liked the plot and kept my emotions going all over the place the whole book."

"Honor's Splendour is one of the best historical romance novels published back in the 90s. I've read so many of the recent historical romance novels that I had to do some digging to uncover this one. What a pleasant surprise at how well written this novel is. I'd say the book could easily make it into my top 20 favorites out of hundreds of other titles."

"If like me you enjoy history seen through the lens of a love story, Ransom is great. It's a story about love and recovery during a turbulent time period in Scotland. I learned a lot about the contemporary politics of the time, as well as some pretty detailed love stories. This might not be accessible to every reader but I think it's worth it."

"The uncertainty within an option yet bounded as the only best one, is the hardest thing one can have to handle. This idea is the center of Only His by Elizabeth Lowell where stranded lady Willow is facing due to ongoing military conflicts. The only man he knows and has is Caleb whom she also has serious doubt with regard to his honesty, sincerity and intentions. Such situations bring an adventure-seeking self within me to get more avid in reading and finding out the end. The fine taste of writing and word selection that Elizabeth Lowell has used in developing the story, is captivating and makes its reader eager to continue reading and finding out the chain of reasons that is leading to the intended ending. I truly enjoy such flow of events developed within stories with unwinding characters"
